ConceptDiagram is an AI-powered diagramming tool that turns a text description of any concept into a clear, labeled concept map, flowchart, mind map, or scientific illustration for learning, teaching, and research.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier from Google in accordance with the permissions you grant.
Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription or a credit pack, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number. We retain limited billing details such as your billing email, transaction history, subscription status, and the last four digits and card brand as provided by Stripe.
User-Generated Content: The text prompts you submit and the diagrams the Service generates from them. This content is stored so that you can access, edit, and manage your diagrams within your account.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, pages viewed, diagrams generated, and session activity.
Device and Technical Data: Information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Communications: Information you provide when you contact our support team, including the content of your messages and your contact details.

Better Auth / Google OAuth — authentication and sign-in. If you choose Google sign-in, your authentication is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
OpenPanel — privacy-focused, self-hosted product and website analytics (hosted by us at metrics.betterai.dev) used to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ConceptDiagram, our users, or others.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain account information, generated diagrams, and usage data until you delete them or close your account. Certain records, such as billing and transaction records, may be retained for longer where required to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
